Local Links

OASOS: A group for LGBTQ youth in Boulder and Longmont. Run by Boulder County.

Boulder Pride: The Boulder LGBTQ community center.  See their site for resources, groups and events.

The Center: Denver's LGBTQ community center.  More resources, groups and events.  They host LINK, which is a site that helps you choose an LGBTQ friendly health professional. 

Rainbow Alley: A social and support group for LGBTQ youth in Denver.  Run by The Center.

National Links

National LGBTQ Youth Hotline:  Free and confidential support.

The Trevor Project:  A 24/7 crisis and suicide prevention hotline for LGBTQ youth.

The National Youth Advocacy Coalition: A national organization focused on improving the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth through advocacy, education, and information.

Transfamily: TransFamily is a support site for transgender and transsexual people, their parents, partners, children, other family members, friends, and supportive others. They provide referrals, literature, and over-the-phone information on all transgender issues. 

Parents, Friends and Family of Lesbians and Gays: This great organization is also very friendly toward transgender, intersex and bisexual folks, too.  They support the family and friends of LGBTQ folks and have chapters and meetings all across the country. Check here for some great material to give to family and friends.
